Arenal Volcano Hotels

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most ppular tourist areas in Costa Rica. What use to be a small rural agriculture area is now a bustling tourist, eco-adventure, base camp for many vacationers wanting to be surrounded by nature, beautiful scenery, not to mention the Arenal Volcano.

In the last two years it is official that the Arenal Volcano has stopped pouring lava down it's side. This does not mean that the volcano is not active or that it takes away from it's awesome natural beauty. It should be noted that when looking for a hotel in the Arenal Volcano area, that contrary to what many sites say, you will NOT have a lava view from any of the rooms simply because the volcano is not spewing lava anymore.

Aside from not having lava anymore the Arenal/La Fortuna area has developed many other tourist attractions that don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
