Playa Santa Teresa

Playa Santa Teresa has turned into one of the hottest spots in Costa Rica located on the Pacific Coast in theNicoya Peninsula. Don't be fooled though along with it's popularity you still feel the affect of being in a small surfer spot as you will not find any high-rises but you will find over 30 different options for lodging including rooms that range from $15's a night to over $1000's per night, giving budget and luxury travelers many options to enjoy the marvelous white gold sandy beaches of Santa Teresa Beach. The area is made up of 5km of gravel road allowing for the gravel road feeling that we all love when hanging at beach towns.

Here you will find a mix of Italian, French, American, Arab, giving you mix of foreigners from all over the world and making it an eclectic area of fine restaurants of different cuisines along with a high class night life. DJ's come from all over the world to put on some of their most fascinating shows at Playa Santa Teresa.

If your looking to enjoy different activities you can have fun doing the now popular Stand Up Board Paddling (SUP - Boarding) tours in boat around the peninsula, canopy tour on the edge of Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve, or different options in Yoga and surfing.

What separates this beach from the rest though is its consistency of waves making it not only a good spot to visit for surfers but home to many. After a day of surfing world class waves the entire community will gather on the beach as you watch one of the America's most picturesque sunsets which can be enjoyed almost everyday of the year.
